Science 9 Carbon Emissions

Looking at the chart, I am actually quite surprised by the change in carbon emissions for some of the developed countries. I would have expected for the developed countries to increase, but looking at Russia, Germany, and the UK, their emissions have reduced. For Canada and the US, the amount increased way less than I would have expected. I’m not too surprised by China, over the past few decades the country has gone through large amounts of growth, and there’s always stories about how much pollution there is in China’s environment. As for the future, I think the balance of the cycles of the environment are doomed without intervention from governments on a large scale.
