Science 10 is the last course that doesn’t cover a unit of biology, chemistry and physics in the same high school science course. In grade 11 all of the sciences will be separated into distinct courses. So this is my last chance to reflect on one course and look at all three major branches on science.
Science was my other course that was disrupted by the shut down on in person school. Still everyone but in the effort to carry on and finish the semester strong. The course work was shifted to online, and Teams meetings replaced in class lectures. But I still learned a lot in topics like genetics, chemical equations, electro magnetic spectra and more. We also had a lot of project based assignments that we could do at home. This included a research project on genetic or hereditary diseases/ disorders, a research project on a space mission of our choice and a Rube Goldberg machine.
