My Digital Portfolio

My Digital Portfolio by Luka A.
1. I am very proud of where I come from, and so I put a lot of effort into my family tree project for social studies, and it paid off decently well, I’m also proud of my physical capability, so I was glad to have scored so well during my time in PE. (I didn’t do any extracurricular stuff)
2. I selected my family tree because I put a lot of effort into it, and since nobody wanted their picture in there, I resorted to showing pictures of Sarajevo and Knin during the war but also after to show off the subtle beauty both towns have. Scoring well in PE made me feel as if I was finally ready to go back to MMA training under Mr. Gibson’s Sr and Jr, I had left right before school started and I wanted to go back ever since.
3. I think it’s more so about my growth as a person, both physically and mentally. I never really liked Croatia until they competed in the World Cup and dang near almost won it. That’s when I realized I’m extremely patriotic to the country, so I’m glad I was able to represent that so well in my project. For PE, I used to be overweight, so when I got into Gibson’s, the change was so sudden, I dropped down to 130 pounds and when I left I went back up to 150, so going into PE inspired me to hit the gym in my building a little more and continue my training with friends before I can formally do it again.
4. I faced myself, I’m a somewhat lazy person, so when I was told a deadline would be two months later I sort of kicked back for a while and planned to do it, so I had a week left and I decided to sit down and immediately start again, and I made quite a good project out of that. For PE, I just had to deal with not being as fit as I was used to being at training, but by the end of the semester, I felt stronger and faster.
5. I’m going to put in as much effort into Socials 10 as I did into my training, into my family tree, into my fitness. And I’m going to see if I can join wrestling next year to try my hand at that.
