This is an image from the 2016 animated film Your Name (Kimi no Na wa.) It’s been years since I watched it but I still remember being completely hooked to the story and incredible visuals as I cuddled up to my blanket at a sleepover. This image is meaningful to me because Your Name is the film that picked me up and shoved me down the rabbit hole that is the anime universe. Because of this common passion, I have made so many new friends and strengthened old relationships. This interest opened me up to so many new opportunities, such as going to conventions and making memories I will forever look back fondly upon.
