I really like this quote and I think it is one that everyone should know. It’s simple, once you realize what’s happening, it’s not as scary as it seemed before. For an example, I ride horses, so there is lots of things that seem scary at first, but aren’t as scary once you understand them. When I’m riding, the horse might trip and at first I was scared when that happened, but it’s no longer scary, or when the horse does a lead change. At first that feels like a buck, but I understand what is happening now and I’m no longer scared with that. I’ve learned over time, that when something happens, and the horse won’t stop going fast that you’ve just got to sit up and put fear aside and understand that it’s going to be okay in the end. There is lots of stuff in life that seems scary at first, until you look deeper into it.
