my science quote

The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster than society gathers wisdom

– Isaac Asimov (author and biochemist, 1920-1992)

This quote spoke to me because of how true it is to heart. People use knowledge as wisdom which is not the case. Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment the quality of being wise. Wisdom come with age and is earned not learned and people are gaining the knowledge way faster than when they would gain wisdom from trial and error. Because of technology this has advanced the modern image as something more futuristic and I believe that we should go do some more trail and error to gain wisdom before we do something we may regret.

here are some other quotes that made me think…….
  • “Never let your sense of morals prevent you from doing what is right.” …
  • “In life, unlike chess, the game continues after checkmate.” …
  • “If my doctor told me I had only six minutes to live, I wouldn’t brood.

some facts about Issac that made me wonder…..

his parents were immigrants that owned candy stores

he was rejected from every school he applied to

he had a successful career in Academia

he met his second wife at a meet and greet

in conclusion he was a good man and an amazing scientist and his quotes are extremely inspiring and he needs more recondition in my opinion
