My dad doesn’t work in Canada, so i didn’t have the opportunity to do take your kid to work. His workplace is in an office, but he has the choice to work at his office or at home. My dad works as an investor. Some skills that you will need for this career includes good communication, good analytical skills, and also emotional intelligence. You need good communication skills since you are making deals/offers to other people about their companies. You need good analytical skills to see whether you think the company will become successful or fail. You also need to become emotionally intelligent since things might go bad often. Something new that i learned about this job is that it carries risk towards it. When investing, if you invested into the wrong thing you could lose all your money. I also learned that there are many different types of investments such as stocks, mutual funds, real estates and even gold. Something that would discourage me from waking up for work everyday is laziness/tiredness. Unless i am able to start work after lunch, then sometimes i will  be too lazy or tired to go to work or do anything at all. I will just want to sleep and relax. So, something that appeals to me about this job is the fact that you can work by yourself and by your own hours. You would not have to wake at a set period time and go home a set period time, and instead you are free. You will be able to work anywhere you want even while on vacation, which is what i really enjoy about this job,
