Our group conducted our inquiry process by simply talking to people from the school, for example people from our classes. We would ask them about self identity because that is what our research question is. We also talked to teachers about our question, and asked them for feedback.
We used google slides to create a simple, clean-looking presentation that we could all work together on easily, and as you can see I have indeed uploaded the presentation to my edubloog.
As already stated we used google slides to actually create our presentation, and we created an Instagram group chat to communicate with each other outside of school. We used these platforms because we were all familiar with the use of those 2 platforms. When creating the presentation we collaboratively decided on the length/medium of the presentation.
A strategy we used for effective group-work was communication.By talking to each other and insuring everyone is on the same page, it made it easier to complete parts of the presentation. We didn’t really have a method to hold each other accountable which is probably why we had some issues with group members but we got around it regardless.
We cited our sources in APA format, and I knew they were good sources because they had the requirements of a good source (e.g. author, date, etc.) and because they were large psychology websites that had a good reputation in that community. We looked for 2 sources to confirm our finding from the first site, and apart from the 2 websites we had collected our own information from conducting a survey (primary research).
I am most proud of the fact that through the struggle of having several issues with group members we still made a cohesive and fluent presentation which we proceeded to present well.
