Communication is an important part of our human nature, as we are a social species. By using the internet to its full extent to communicate with others via websites, games or videos that we create.
Creative Thinking:
We can use creative thinking skills to create fun and engaging projects such as scripts of code, websites, or videos/blogs. Having good a creative thought process can help in any situation, from assignments to brainstorming sessions, having a creative and unique thought process will help make products and results more interesting.
Collaborating:
When working on a project with multiple people, you will have to work well with the people within your team. Collaboration is a very useful skill to master because having good teamwork can yield very fruitful results. If you do not have cooperation and coordination within your group, the project or task will most likely fail, since you aren’t utilizing the full potential of the group. Using the full power and use of the team will greatly enhance your chances of success.
Critical thinking and reflective thinking:
When coding, the majority of the time when you first run your freshly written code, it will fail. The most important part about this situation is knowing what the problem is. If you can identify by reflecting and concentrating on what might have gone wrong, you have a better chance at fixing it. By thinking critically, you can go step-by-step forming a plan on how things will play out. this will help us code efficiently and be better learners.
Personal Awareness and Responsibility:
When given assignments and projects, it might feel like the work is too much, and that you might not be able to get it done in time. However, managing your time is a very important step in being a student and a citizen. Being aware of your timetable and schedule will help you manage your time and work your way into each day. When planning your work, you should also leave some time for a break, as putting too much work on yourself in a condensed amount of time will stress you out and you won’t be able to work as efficiently as possible.
Positive Personal and Cultural Identity:
When writing about your blogs about yourself and your hobbies, you can also delve deeper into your cultural identity. Your family is an important part of who you are and keeping them in mind will help you find more things to write about. Discovering about your culture is always a very good and entertaining thing to do. Not only will you find more topics to cover in your blogs, but you will also find out about your heritage and ancestors.
Social Awareness and Responsibility:
In a classroom environment, there will be people who need help with work, and advice in general about life. As a classmate and a fellow human being, it is only fair that you help and advise them to support them in school, or anywhere else. Helping them is a great act of kindness, and will help them carry on with their day to day lives. Another thing that you can do to help the community that you work in, is to clean or tidy up work-space so that others can work there as well. Due to the pandemic, we must social distance and wear masks to protect others. By simply following the health guidelines you are protecting yourself and others around you.
