For my quote, I’m choosing “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”. This quote has a lot of meaning to me since I personally feel as though I’ve gained more from trying my best and actually reaching for something, even if what I’ve gained is a sense of failure. It’s better to try than to be scared of something that you are able to achieve, you just have to take that shot. I’ve missed many amazing opportunities because I was scared, or just didn’t want to put in the work, and that fear only drove me away from things I’d want to experience. I’m a firm believer that even if you try and fail, no experience should be considered a waste of time. Failing doesn’t mean anything if you don’t think of it as failing, but as just another learning experience to push you closer to your goal.
