I took this photo around a week ago in Japan, and it is a clear view of the city of Kyoto taken from the wooden stage of the Kiyomizudera Temple. In my opinion, this photo represents how each corner of the world is different, as the Kyoto Tower isn’t something that you would see every single day as a tourist. However, despite this photo being taken in a different country, it still shares similarities to Vancouver; even if I’m not viewing another city from a famous wooden terrace, I can still appreciate a similar view from the balcony of a skyscraper. This is why this image is meaningful to me.
