This video, which was posted on April 6th, 2011, is very meaningful to me, as I enjoy listening to songs such as these being played on guitar. This is a video of Rob Scallon, playing his own song, titled “Rain”. The way how this song flows is just insanely smooth and beautiful, and if you slow this song down a little bit, it sounds like it’s telling a completely different story, whilst still sounding extremely elegant. Even though I have no clue on how to play the guitar, I still find that every note seems to resonate with me, as I play piano, and each note that is played is very similar to that on a piano.
Image of Impact
I took this photo around a week ago in Japan, and it is a clear view of the city of Kyoto taken from the wooden stage of the Kiyomizudera Temple. In my opinion, this photo represents how each corner of the world is different, as the Kyoto Tower isn’t something that you would see every single day as a tourist. However, despite this photo being taken in a different country, it still shares similarities to Vancouver; even if I’m not viewing another city from a famous wooden terrace, I can still appreciate a similar view from the balcony of a skyscraper. This is why this image is meaningful to me.
Meaningful Quote
“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” –Albert Einstein
I chose this quote because when I was young, I stumbled upon a book which contained several quotes by Albert Einstein that have stayed with me ever since. I find quotes by Albert Einstein to be very meaningful, as they teach you to become a creative thinker, keep learning, and never give up. I feel that quotes by Albert Einstein quotes represent me best, as I always strive to think creatively when faced with situations that require irregular solutions, and persevere through challenges to the best of my ability.
