My favourite image is this picture my grandma sent to my mom, saying that my grandpa was waiting for me to visit them in China. Because of the pandemic and strict travel regulations, I have not been able to see them for 5 years. This picture made me extremely happy, as my grandpa had actually had cancer a month before this picture, and he survived. I selected this post because my grandpa looks absolutely adorable in this picture, and because of the message he left for my mom to me. I think this shows that my family and friends are extremely important to me, and they are my first priority.
My favourite, and probably most watched clip on youtube, is this video of how to tame a budgie. At home, I have 5 budgies. When I got my first two, I always tried so hard to get them to like me, but they seemed to be mortified at that idea. After countless times of rewatching this video, I can definitely say it works! I had to persevere and have extremely good patience with my birds, as well as being consistent with interactions. I think that this video represents that I am hardworking, ambitious, and goal-driven.

It uses the idea of flowers as a metaphor to illustrate an important factor in life. I selected this quote because it can be used in multiple situations in common day to day events. When I go through a challenging and difficult time, just as the flower survives the harsh rain, I learn to endure through life’s obstacles. This shows that as a person, I am someone who not only survives life’s rainy days, but thrives off them.
