About Me
Hello, I’m Christine, a high school student. I live in British Columbia with my mom, dad, and younger brother. I was born in Korea before my family moved to Canada, pursuing a better life for me and my sibling.
Music has always been a large part of my life. I started taking piano lessons when I was six, hoping to get good enough to play the accompaniment to my mom’s choir songs. Although I was no prodigy, playing the piano sparked my love for all things music. As of right now, I am halfway through to an RCM Level 10 diploma and play in a youth orchestra.
I spend the majority of my time playing badminton. I started at 9 years old and have been playing competitively ever since. The biggest ups and downs of my life have been related to badminton in some way. I am not naturally athletic nor physically coordinated, so training 4 to 5 times a week was difficult to get used to.
In my free time, I watch YouTube and feed my crippling Genshin Impact addiction. In the future, I hope to find better hobbies and find inner peace.
