This quote by Wayne Gretzky has been very meaningful to me for the past 5 years after I learned about who he was in grade 4. Even if this quote sounds like it applies to people who are currently involved in hockey activities, this can be applied to anything in my daily life. This quote means a lot as it tells me to look at the big picture, and the importance of looking towards the future, and not the past. If I work harder, such as getting to school earlier, studying more, or moving around to hit the ball in volleyball, I am able to grow as a student, person and a part of a volleyball team.
