Quote important to me

Pain is temporary, pride is forever – Lance Armstrong

Making it to cross-country provincials allowed to travel to Niamo and compete with so many amazing athletes and share a common interest of cross-country. They gave out long sleeve shirt merch with this quote on the back. (There was also a subway sponsorship on the back.) This quote is so true for not only sports but also in life. I only need to dedicate four more years of my life before I can call myself a high school graduate. The stress and sleep deprivation will only last for four years. After four years, I will spend the rest of my life as a well, educated high school student.

Making provincials had me go through so much pain and time. I would have to drag myself to running practice every sunny day even when I had slept at 12 pm last night and had woken at 6 am for band. The race was only a fourteen minute and 4 kilometers. I just needed to push through the next fourteen minutes and I will achieve a lifetime of pride. This quote represents so much of my motivation and dedication in life. This is why this quote is so important to me, it represents the motivation and dedication that keeps me going, every, single, day.

YouTube Clip

Why did I choose this video? This channel actually posts a lot of videos regarding the environment. I like the video because it broadcast multiple perspectives to one problem and often, these scientists do not take sides. I know many channels that provide facts to prove others are uneducated or their facts are biased to support one side or solution. There is no perfect solution to any problem and scientist are just here to provide the data, evidence, and options to solve them. But the real person who makes the decision is actually the government you vote for. So vote carefully and know next time, scientist are not theocratic.

An Image with impact

This is a picture of a group of teenagers representing the Republic of North Korea. Although media and rumors portray North Koreans as negative and unfavorable, a group of ordinary teenagers can still support and look at world problems through the perspective of North Koreans. Understanding perspective and intentions to actions are huge in preventing misunderstandings, causing tension between countries. To me, understanding problems from a feared and unfavoured country is perhaps the first step to neutralizing tension and make peace between two nations.

Who am I?

Welcome to my blog guys!

I’m going to be posting about our digital footprint, videos, photos, and other media that posses an impact on me! I’m fourteen and turning fifteen next year. I live in super, natural British Columbia of Canada and maybe we do live in igloos and drink maple syrup for breakfast. I’m involved in badminton, volleyball, cadets, band, debate club, and cross country. There are others clubs and teams I am in that I may be not as committed to as I listed. Joining all these clubs has allowed me to meet so many people outside my old schools and school grade. These people can offer so many different approaches and perspective to the school and other life choices. The best part is, I get to choose which approaches are best for me. So welcome to my first year of high school all inside this blog!
