For the winter market we did a save the planet carnival. I worked with Juliana and Sophia to make the carnival happen. We decided to choose this idea because it was different and seemed fun. The carnival was a success because we made a profit of 9$. The setup and the expenses of the market was the biggest obstacle, the cost of our business was really high which made making profit a really big struggle. Another thing was setting up the carnival took up a lot of time and took up almost double the time to set up compared to others.
The carnival actually exceeded my expectations as i expected us to only break even at most because as we began to get our materials we realized how high our cost was so we were glad that we were able to make any profit at all. Before we were getting our materials we expected everything to be cheaper and much easier to make profit. We also thought there were gonna be more consumers but we still got a pretty good amount.
I learned the skills needed to create and maintain a business by experiencing first hand the struggles first hand such as raising and lowering our prices to bring in consumers or marketing our carnival to raise our profit. This is important because this experience can help me in the future and help me learn about the needs to run a business. In the future I want to try to lower our expenses.

I am able to come up with unique ideas and figure out how to make those ideas turn into actually things . I am able to make the ideas better and improve on them over time and work to make them happen.
