I chose this video because it’s of me in my choir when I was at the beginning of my journey as a singer. I often look back at this video and think about how far I’ve grown as a singer and just a person in general in a group of people who share the love for music. I’ve made so many great memories in all the years in choir, and this video reminds me of all the amazing people I’ve encountered. This video also shows my commitment I’ve made to my choir for the past 9 years I’ve been in it. It’s meaningful to me because this song is super nostalgic to me and it reminds me of all my friends, directors, and life back then. It feels like performing on this stage was just yesterday and it’s amazing how time flies by so quickly.

This image shows the potential destruction of the earth in 21 years, as you can see from the date. I chose this picture as my impactful image because I think in today’s society people don’t take taking care of the environment seriously enough. We can all do a lot better to help our planet thrive and not have to worry about disasters caused by us in the near future. In the picture, you can also see a man, in front of a background of trees and grass, being filmed. To me this represents the people who pretend like they care and show what would please people on camera, but in reality they don’t actually care, as you can see by the mess and destruction around him. This image is significant to me because I want to keep the environment clean. I feel everyone should take it more seriously and we need to take more action rather than just talking about it. Talking about it is a great way to raise awareness but we need to start taking action.

A meaningful quote

“Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will” ~ Suzy Kassem

I chose this quote because it shows people, and myself, another perspective. I feel like lots of people feel that their dreams aren’t reachable because of failure and they have the mindset of failing every time. To me, personally, I understand the quote as, it’s not failure that sets your limits, it’s the fear of failure. This quote inspires me to step out of my comfort zone and to not let my fears stop me from achieving what I want.
