This is a short film by my favourite YouTuber by far. She’s a film major at UCLA and this is a little animation she made almost two years ago. I love how the song, style, and storyline all come together in such a simple and elegant manner.

The song is very much the opposite of mainstream and has that authentic feeling to it. The animation itself is so endearing and for the lack of a better word, cute. It is the epitome of less is more; in fact, the whole film is. As for the plot, it’s direct, to the point, and conveys a message. The story tells of a young couple living in a futuristic and almost dystopian world, and shows how technology influences their relationship.
