I chose this quote because I believe that it is the most accurate one, philosophically. Science is always factual, however people’s opinions are simply beliefs, whether they believe in the science given or not. Science is nor true or false, making it the base ground for all discovery, thoughts, and beliefs. Science act as a reliable source for humanity, a trustable truth. Science is proven by real events that have taken place in our history and these events can be proven by evidence, which is another reason for its reliability. A real-life example of this quote is on a quite controversial topic, gender. It is scientifically proven that there are only 2 sexes, male and female. However, gender is someone’s own understanding as to how they identify, sexually. This quote is actually incredibly straight-forward and clear to read at first glance, however, when asked to explain it, you will discover that there is more meaning than originally implied.
