The IB Core class is composed of three separate subjects: IB Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS), IB Extended Essay (EE) and Career Life Connections 12 (CLC 11/12).

IB Creativity, Action, and Service 11 – ICAS-11
IB Creativity, Action, and Service 12 – ICAS-12

IB CAS is a mandatory 18 month IB Diploma Course that requires students to engage in experiences developing their abilities in the 3 strands of Creative, Activity and Service, as well as keeping their evidence in an online portfolio. In addition to this, students must complete several CAS reflections in their grade 11 and 12 years in order to meet all learning outcomes. All IB Diploma students must also complete a final CAS Presentation in their grade 12 year in which each student will share their CAS Portfolio with the school community. This final event is mandatory and is generally held in May after IB exams.

IB Theory of Knowledge 11 – ITK–11
IB Theory of Knowledge 12 – ITK–12

TOK, as a core requirement of the IB Diploma, encourages students to think critically about knowledge itself, to understand their role as knowers and to consider the connections between the disciplines that make up their studies. Student assessment is based on an essay written in response to a prescribed title completed in grade 12 and an exhibition completed at the end of grade 11.
